DOVE Project #SHOWUS:

70% of women still don’t feel represented in media & advertising. That’s why Dove, in partnership with Girlgaze, Getty Images, and women everywhere, created Project #ShowUs. We’re showing women as they are, not as others believe they should be. With both a global campaign and image bank to be leveraged by hundreds of publishers, we are creating a dialogue based on inclusiveness and authenticity.

I was brought in to lead the global campaign design and develop the social campaign launch to drive awareness. We created a robust tool kit for global partners to ensure seamless integration of every image, on every platform, in every market.

SOCIAL CAMPAIGN LAUNCH

For the Dove social takeover, we decided to lead with the women who best shatter one of the most pervasive, global stereotypes. We put them front and center in Instagram stories, using their own words and images. We also posted their ads with video content shot by Girlgaze to give our audience a behind the scenes look into our favorite photo shoots.
